One of the best things at Easter is the cozy moment where the Easter eggs are getting painted. You choose the pattern and colours - and not two eggs look the same. We painted some eggs for our Easter catalogue - and we hope you will get inspired. Happy Easter!

EASTER COOKIES by Fräulein Klein

We are getting in a good easter mood, and what better way than baking som wonderful cookies.
So we teamed up with the sweet German blogger Fräulein Klein who made this great recipe of Easter Egg with lemon curd... uhmmmm.

350 g. flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
70 g. sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoon grated lemon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
75 ml. oil
60 ml. milk
250 g. quark 20%
Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Lemon curd

And here is how to do it:

Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add all remaining ingredients. Drain the water from the quark before putting it in. Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough. Put plenty of flour on the table and roll out the dough to an approx. 3 mm thickness.
Cut out the eggs with an oval-shaped cookie cutter. Make a small oval hole in the center on half of the eggs. Bake them golden brown in the oven for approx. 15 minutes at 150 degrees. Allow to cool. Sprinkle the eggs (with a hole) with a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Lubricate the eggs (without a hole) with lemon curd and put the eggs (with a hole) on top.
Enjoy your Easter eggs!

The Danish association of Hospital Clowns is a program in Danish hospitals and medical centers involving visits from specially trained clowns.

They are sometimes called "Clown Doctors" which is a trademarked name in several countries. These visits to hospitals have been shown to help healing patients with the positive power of hope and humor. There is also an associated positive benefit to the staff and families of patients.

The Danish Hospital Clowns recenty opened their new office here in Copenhagen, where our Vertigo Wallpaper has been used for decoration.
