PHOTOGRAPHER RACHEL WHITING

Based in London Rachel works as a freelance photographer.
With a foundation in Landscape photography work honed as
a student on the Editorial Photography degree course at
Brighton University, Rachel graduated in 2001 with BA (Hons).
Since graduating she has spent the past few years working
in the photographic industry specialising in the areas of
Interiors and Still-Life, whilst maintaining a pesonal interest
in Landscape Photography.
Her photographic work is constructed with an inherent aesthetic
of simplicity, shape, color and form evident throughout all of
her images.
We had the pleasure to work with Rachel (and Rohini as a stylist) for some of our new pitures this Spring. Have a look at Rachels website to see more of her great portfolio.

THE BEAT THAT MY HEART SKIPPED

‘The Beat That My Heart Skipped’ is a great blog dedicated to European home and product design run by London-based stylist and writer, Rohini Wahi.

We at ferm LIVING had the pleasure to work with Rohini for our latest collection. Together with photographer Rachel Whiting, she created some absolutely gorgeous pictures for our catalogue.

Also check out her website: rohiniwahi.com to see more from her portfolio.

Born out of a frustration of the lack of good UK Design blogs in comparison to the wonderful but saturated US blogs scene, Rohini decided take it upon herself to fill the gap!
Originally started in August 2007, this blog was a place for Rohini to shelve her daily inspirations and document new discoveries in design that made her heart skip! Rohini has a unique angle on the industry having worked as the news and features writer for international design magazine Spaces and as their sole stylist for 2 years. She has also as a contributing Shopping Editor the Real Homes team, scouring the market for covetable and desirable interior products. ‘The Beat That My Heart Skipped’ is updated constantly and attracts a core group of devoted readers.
